Judy Marcantel is a legal assistant working in SKLaw’s public law and special district practice areas. She is a specialist in government entity representation, assisting attorneys in district operating, construction, election, and bond related matters. She provides, among other services, assistance with meeting and minute participation, legal document preparation and administration, and government filings. Ms. Marcantel is also experienced in conducting public elections, compliance matters relating to the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Open Records Act, public official ethics, and records retention requirements.

Prior to joining SKLaw, Ms. Marcantel was the Compliance Manager at The DeGrasse Law Firm, P.C. Prior to that, she was the Office Administrator and legal assistant with the West Law Group PLLC, where she gained extensive experience in business litigation.

Ms. Marcantel was born in Houston, Texas. She received a B.B.A., cum Laude, from the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
